Highly unlikely. Lynas book value is 1.2B its Market cap to day is 8.1 B. assuming management and stockholders would want at least a 25% premiums on current SP that means any purchaser could only raise 1.2 B from investment bankers. The other 9 B would go on their books as good will which is not treated same as Physical assets. Also says buyer would need 9B + in cash to buy the stock. Especially when economies are contracting investors just do no not like to see lots of good will on the balance sheets. It is worth little.
