But after the hard-won experience of sorting out the Ph 1 production, which Lynas has said IS NOW capable of design production to specification, why would you assert that the later Ph 2 Solvent Separation plant will not be able to do so? I was told on a LAMP visit, and similarly by the COO at the Rosskills Singapore Conference, that Phase 1 is now capable of producing to spec.
And the very clear trends of increasing Nd, Pr and NdPr prices in recent months would seem to justify Lynas ramping up production of these REEs, and from my discussions with the CEO after the last AGM I'm sure she would only do this after a careful cost benefit analysis.
