Why would anyone be surprised that the Chinese would remove export quotas - I am sure LYC would factored in that issue before they even started ?
My opinion has always been that the real driver for LYC is consumers of REEs who do not like the Chinese system & cannot complain for fear of endangering their supply. In addition they do not want to be forced to operate in China.
I suspect these consumers will quietly transition sourcing over time as LYC production becomes available and like all consumers will not put all their 'eggs' in one basket of supply.
As a LT holder who cannot monitor daily trading my shares are in the bottom draw and have no fear this will not become a blue chip investment in the coming years as technology & demand explodes further. I just wish I had more cash available to buy more LYC shares.
