mate, the in ground value has nothing to do with what an asset is worth if as in the case of Lynas the cost of extraction exceed the realizable value.
In other words if by mining and processing all you can produce is a continual loss, then the above ground value is nil - now why would anyone want to buy a loss making enterprise
