Thanks for your reply again. I like and don't discount your predictions. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a $100 long term RE price. Not sure about $200 though as Lynas producing would increase global supply and have a depressing effect on prices. However, I also don't think that as it stands, RE prices will stop rising at $100. And the Chinese want to keep the price high as well so its entirely realistic.

Anyway, although I didn't mention in it my post, my point was that in the worst case scenario, LYC would still be alright and we wouldn't lose money from the current SP yet the upside is immense. So taking all extremes into consideration (thanks for your opposite scenario), we can either gain a little over the long-term, or an astronomical amount.

In conclusion, even if the world did end, you wouldn't need to jump off a bridge after all :)
