A series of announcements on Jan 23 and 24 indicate that due to lower lithium prices they have delayed their final investment decision until sometime in 2021. This means they will review the economics again then and make a decision then. Could be positive or negative , but the danger is that one or more new battery technologies that do not involve lithium , that are being perfected now in Japan , the US and Europe will affect lithium demand and prices.
