Just like me, you appear to find the awarding of funds to Mountain Pass Operators a little strange given the funding is for HRE Processing Plant and they only have LRE.
Could it be the American DOD want to keep the process simple and deal with 2 companies - hence when LRE Funding is awarded it will also go to Lynas and Mountain Pass!
