BorisDog & Ahboy I very much thank you for your contributions - sounds logical to me - but v easy to be confused (as per blackjack and myself) unless you know such intricate details.
I would like to think I am gaining knowledge on this fascinating resource and stock by the day. Unfortunately personally, I have lost a source of knowledge on such things and the LYC threads are also becoming barren of very knowledgeable posters such as yourselves and a few others....
It is a pity that the HC LYC threads have become as such - a combination of die hard fanatics whether that be on the stock, the management or anti on one or both ( I wont mention the TA v's the FA brigade:)) lol
I wish to attain a level headed approach in my investing and only facts and knowledge can be part of that.
I have been in the past an advocate of extensive and innovative PR with regards to how Lynas tackle those vocally anti LAMP and whilst Lynas have stepped up the pace, they need to be pro-active rather than re-active in their stance IMHO........
I am aware though that this can be a very difficult and challenging task given that there are various interested parties in all things #LYNAS. This is also coupled with a difference in business, political and social culture b/w operating a plant in Malaysia with that of an Oz state........ But we have to work with what we have!
Whilst HC is an excellent tool for investors - the real battleground is that of other social media ie facebook, twitter, YouTube and the like for Lynas at least. Soon it will include the courts and as always the media circus will follow.
I hope that the news flow will become more fluid following any legal challenges and once the LAMP construction and commissioning is complete, but note that this is not a unique situation with junior resource producers, no matter what the armchair operational directors and CEOs will post.
I was interested to read in one publication that the SMSL movement were prepared for the 1st shipment of ore to Kuantan stating that they were prepared to block the gates. It indicates to me that they are preparing for and expecting the worst outcome for them.........which of course from a LYC shareholders perspective is the exact opposite:)
