Very unlikely:
A) Severe damage to Malaysias credibilty as a "good" country in which to invest. [they are desperately trying to replace and replenish manufacturing and investment after losing much of it to China in the past ten years}.
With an election round the corner such a move would be counterproductive to the image of the ruling party.
To answer you quetion though:-
B) It(we)would build the plant in Australia as it already has approvals to do so anyway.
This would mean at least a 12 month delay on one hand allowing me to buy in more at lower prices and on the other hand, would mean that i would have to delay buying my Mercedes and the wifes Porshe.
Worse still it wold delay booking my trip to Surfers for the party!
