I disagree... it is a very good step.

This move allows Lynas to move from the 'discredited' (*) to the 'cretitable' status with ease... it puts Lynas amongst it's peers via a review that other companies have used for the same purpose.

More than anything, this helps Lynas, and the current Government hose down the final bit of mud that has stuck from the SMSL and company...

This move is very wise on many levels.


(*) - when I say 'discredited', I mean in the sense that if enough mud is thrown, some sticks... SMSL and co have invested many months of throwing mud... some of it will stick in the mind of locals, regardless of what BN, Lynas, IAEA, AELB and others say.... using a company like this counters some of that mud.
