Politics - at the moment a few Republican hardliners want to establish EVERYTHING - as the entire supply chain from the mine to the product in the USA. Obviously there is no getting around the technical expertise of LYC at the moment, IMO.
But according to Amande, LYC is going its way as planned, even without a few hundred thousand $$ in funding.
