After the TOL was issued early in the year, the minister only became involved because of the legal action by protesters. He said he took advice from a number of sources while deliberating the appeal and prior to dismissing the appeal.
It would be fairly safe to assume that the advice he took was from the AELB, among others, as they are the country's experts on radiation matters, so you would expect that his advice that the LAMP was safe has come from them.
If I am correct, the next step is for the AELB to discuss the TOL at there next meeting, and I would suggest, issue the TOL as there would appear to be no further impediment to them doing so.
