Northern Minerals has previously had an internal fight between Chinese factions, the kiboshed takeover looked much cleaner, but the 'heavy' is going to the Morrison subsidised and slow learning (shades of MP) Iluka.
Assume, given certainty of supply, Japan will support LYC. As will us dazzled but ordinary ordinary shareholders with the 'world' expansion prospects.
Also assume AL won't be dazzled by US flim-flam.
Despite suspecting that MP is near the beginning of the learning curve she might still have to ask the US DoD to 'send in the marines' to MP as a persuasive tool.
Having mentioned the DoD and given the 1861ish scenes at the Texas border it is to be hoped that any assigned WA, Malaysian, or even Australian staff, will enter only via California and with a Swiftie fan club membership.
