If you re read it, you'll find it's Citi Banks forecast not Lynas.
Pol refuses to give any forward price indications on the quarterly calls. And Amanda usually makes a joke that their internal predictions on RE prices are always wrong before hand balling to Pol. Definitely not a Lynas comment that they expect prices to be depressed for 2 to 3 years.
RE prices are volatile. I think we are at or very close to the bottom now. If the Chinese government starts to introduce stimulus into there economy. RE prices could take off at any movement without much warning.
I think Citi Banks prediction is very bold, and undoubtedly to be proven wrong in the fullness of time.
