quite obviously the inaccurate media reports were caused by that mashal ahmad guy. but that's not the point. the point is the costs involved. lynas has always had a hight cost structure due to 10% transportation costs. now the waste removal obligations cause additional time and lots of money. didn't they want to produce rare earth products? maybe nc should just start building new roads to china.
