Personally I dont see any benefit to Lynas shareholders merging with Mt Pass Materials and hope this article is all about nothing.

Lynas has Mt Weld - a world class asset and under valued to the current stock price IMO.
LAMP and 12KT P.A NdPr production
Is currently selling all NdPr to non Chinese supply chain
Has arguably the lowest cost NdPr production globally
Has the US DoD contract to build and supply both heavy and light RE
Has cheap debt from Japanese government, and grants from the US government

    What does Mt Pass have?
A mine that went broke under Moloy Corp
I pilot plant attempting to separating NdPr
Only sells its concentrate to China
    Has $700M USD in debt.
    And makes very little money

We are so far ahead of Mt Pass it boggles my mind Amanda would even entertain talks.
We already have our foot in the door with a US presence and contracts.
In a couple of years Mt Pass will be selling its concentrate to Lynas's Texas plant for separation.
