Interesting point re Japanese support for Lynas over the years.
I recall chatting with Lynas execs after AGMs about how much they appreciated technical advice from Japanese experts relating to some problems at the LAMP.
I also remember highlighting here my appreciation of the unprecedented public support for Lynas Malaysia by the Japanese Ambassador (as well as our ambassador) when the LAMP was under sustained attack from Ministers in KL - while the PM was at that time trying to get financial support in Tokyo!
Overall, I think you underrate the extent and importance of Japan’s support to Lynas, notwithstanding it’s apparently reduced in recent years.
