That account you're quoting is scrambled.
MP & Lynas are competors if anything; certainly not partners.
MP ships concentrate from its Mountain Pass mine in the US for processing in China.
They have some Chinese ownership.
Lynas operations are in Australia and Malaysia and they process to separated RE products.
Lynas does have a partnership with Blue Line and some US govt funding is currently on hold for both Lynas and MP.
