Don't really see communism spreading in 'advanced' societies. Though it seems to have worked remarkably well in some societies that required central planning to ensure the rapid economic and social changes largely for the health and benefit of their populations.
Maybe the extreme libertarian capitalism of the USA with its now obvious inability to control the apocalyptical horsemen presents the larger threat to a peaceful existence. The 'will they won't they' LYC funding from the US DoD becoming a plaything of the more than unbalanced Texan political right
is a good indicator of their chaotic approach.
