vvg, just to add a little background to point 1 - NC was definitely in his suite at the Shangri-la during the HK RE Conference. He flew in Tuesday afternoon for registration & reception, gave the keynote Wednesday morning and flew out after lunch.

Somewhere in between he did the interview. Definitely not at his best but he didn't have a lot of control of the interview.

Re the DEIA don't people think he'd love to say the LAMP is located on an industrial estate where half the neighbours are producing radiological waste without the same environmental controls as Lynas?

Can't do that, some of them are customers and supports the assertion the Govt. hasn't been so strict in the past.

Re waste, wouldn't he love to say half Penang & outskirts of KL are built on tin tailings with many multiples LAMP radiation plus dumps all over the country? Can't say that, the ruling Govt. presided over the lot.

Re Tanned Bum's claim the LAMP was shut down reminds me of the time SMSL twit'd there had been an accident at the LAMP and three workers were dead. Turned out a contractors employ had had a heart attack at home.
