Yes, a good day for Lynas but I think most felt that the outcome to this scenario was going to be positive. Malaysia needs all the friends she can get as they recognize that Chinese influence (investment) is going to be way too expensive to hitch their cart to. Japanese investment and Australian good will is something they do not want to lose, so damaging Lynas long term would be foolish. Once we get through the ‘final act’ of this play, Lynas is going to show significant SP growth.
