The Safety Case does not appear to be a public document, so I’m not sure what ‘prevailing AELB’s land use requirements’ actually means.
The Action Plan for WLP Residue Management (2018) indicates that AELB prefer an on-site PDF:
AELB: ON-site is preferred because:
a. More viable and accurate design of PDF
b. Experience from WLP RSF
c. IAEA recommendation
