Of course they will appeal! but the market will know = 0% chance of winning. So maybe a slight hiccup when the appeal is annouced but it will not last long.
A delay from Malaysian govt mid Feb will be more damaging than an appeal by the Fuzzzies imho - but that too will only be temporary until after the elections IF IF they do delay the decision. That is a risk too, as for many have pointed out MANY jobs are reliant on this. Generally speaking Asians love a givt that look econmically capable/strong.
