Your right of course, and RE motors may not be part of the drive train but general demand is potentially huge once OEM's are convinced of a reliable supply chain and economic LT pricing.
There is a very clear price threshold that RE smashed resulting in Nd magnets being designed out, hopefully that is reversing but it will certainly be a lagged impact.
We'll most likely need to wait 12 months to get an indication of whether the 10%pa growth forecast will be realised.
Confirmation of the Siemens JV would be positive as an indicator for wind turbines, but that may well hinge on the future prospects for EU subsidies.
