The ISO certification should certainly demonstrate that the LAMP has sound environmental practices and systems, but the SMSL objections were never about that. They were that the overall process and byproducts were unsafe and that is outside the scope of ISO.
So I also struggle to see this as some kind of a knock-out punch for LYC.
