There is still the small matter of exactly what Lynas does with any radioactive waste.

And the Malaysian Green Coalition can still come back with further appeals based on the use of "toxic chemicals" (sulphuric acid, ammonia, etc.) and on the potential for leakage into ground water systems.

So far the trial has been by the media, and the Malaysian politicians and authorities have been playing "pass the parcel" to avoid being the patsy. The Minister may make a decision which effectively refers it back to the Court.

The Green Coalition has shown itself to be a sophisticated adversary in the print and social media.
