Small Cap Investor tend to get things right with their fundamentals but they aren't so good at timing. I used to get their newsletter and I'd read all about the stock of the month and think Great! Then I'd look at the chart and go Uh No, No Way. I like the chart to be either forming a basing pattern or breaking out. SCI tends to recommend when it's already had a great run and is entering consolidation (for who knows how long) or when it's in a downtrend (whether justified or not).
I'm suprised at the fall in LYC today. They've been one of my steadier stocks since the bear began.
