An interesting question MP. Slide 22 from Pol’s Chicago presentation yesterday (now on the Lynas website) illustrates that there’s a lot of basic processing infrastructure already at the Blue Line site, and it has ISO 9001 certification from 2015.
But because of the extraordinary complexity of RE processing, I’d think at least 2-3 years to achieve specification production.
(Remember that we were told in Sydney that there are 1200 separate process steps st the LAMP; ‘normal’ chemical plants have less than 10! If I’d heard this ten years ago I’d probably have run a mile....)
