It doesn't matter if Lynas is a US company or Australia or elsewhere. They act globally. A company should pay dividends if the managementruns is out of ideas what to do better with savings. That's not the case here.
I am aware, neither Amazon nor Tesla is paying dividends. Why? Think about it...
I am owner of Kirkland Lake Gold. This is a great company. They started paying dividends but just a little a few years ago. So they could double the amount of the divi easily after short time every now and then. I think they have done it to satisfy some fund manager. But from my pow I don't like it because in my account 40% of the money goes for taxation. Of course it is good for the state but not for the investor.
