Hey! I beat Brent Cook to the punch. I came across GOR in a fun way. I owned a company Gold Resources and couldn't remember the symbol. I've was on Yahoo7 checking EVN and IAU. So, typed in 'gold r' and the first thing I saw was GOR.AX. Within ten minutes I knew GFI, the institutions/funds and the U.S. symbol...and that was it! I didn't check on anything else and bought the next day. That was 19Oct2016...But I got nervous and sold less than a month later for a small gain. Bought back in 27Feb. I like buying Australian companies here because your market opens/closes before we even open so the price here is locked into GOR.AX closing price. At this price you have to put in an exact price limit order so no way for a short seller to dump 1/2 million shares trying to run the market down. And if you could throw in a open sell order the market maker would either just not except it or back the bid off 2 cents and take it all!
