Hi all, hope all holders are hanging in there. I know its not only the weather that's a bit cold around my abode at present. Anyway my question to you hoots or anyone else with any knowledge on the subject.. I was watching the sky bus news the other night and I think it was perett who was talking about the amount of large funds worldwide but particularly American, who over the last 5 months or so have been hit with what they called redemptions. They spoke of the amount of money these funds have had to come up with has been at levels not seen before. They then said one of the ways they have come up with the tens of mill each needed was to dump Aust Min Stocks, both big caps and small caps spooked also buy dropping dollar. Does anyone know what this redemptions are all about and has this sell off been happening or not. And before anyone tells me off I am not clutching at straws , I just am interested.
