m26 modular accessory shotgun system

Have a look at these links, they show just how much the US tries to come up with weapons that are light and semi auto like the 3GL and the MAUL, that M26 modular accessory shotgun system, looks pretty awkward to me, where do you place your left hand when firing the rifle? I think the MAUL would play it on a break, but the Yanks age going for them go figure? Oh well someone else will buy the MAUL I suppose or the 3GL?

Even the XM25 looks pretty cumbersome and it only comes with a four-round magazine, although they did say they were looking at more perhaps?
