Many stocks have their day every now and then. At the speculative end of town there are many trials and tribulations, many moments of seemingly breakthrough progress followed by disappointment. Share price movement is just a reflection of that. Of course some companies are better at the PR (or spin) than others. Some do just milk investors, others are genuinely trying to make a future company. And yes if the technology OBJ have proves to have flaws it will just end up being another spike. However, where there's promise there's potential and the possibility that maybe this time is the breakthrough. My favourite saying 'no guarantees' but as long as you are comfortable with your investment, haven't over-stretched and have a sound investment and stop-loss strategy, then speculative investments can be very rewarding.
