With respect, you are not making a logical deduction from the information available. You are speculating, much as I am. We happen to reach different conclusions from the limited information available.
Your speculation is that there will be a payment, because it benefits both parties. It is rational, but still speculation. My view is that would be announced if it were the case.
My speculation is that, absent information to the contrary, there will be no interim payment, though Teva may be inclined to fund MSB in other ways - via equity for example. That too is rational, but speculation.
