As I write this this morning, gold has just regained $90 from it's $1863 low, trading at $1953. With COMEX gold derivatives having finished profit taking, it's time to make new highs. Not hard to imagine that a couple of trading days can see it making new highs. New highs of course tend to entice those who missed the previous train to pile in. If they haven't heard last call yet, they need to have their hearing checked.
Also interesting that this recent low stopped at PRECISELY where the 1 year chart trend line happens to be, and that the closing price for the preceding 2 days was basically AT the former record high of $1,921. Merely coincidence? Perhaps, but I don't think so. I wouldn't be surprised if the recent low of $1,850 is the new $1,450 or line in the sand.
