shorters are obviously betting on another forecast miss and this price increase has given them a good entry point. usually when a company goes on a earnings downgrade cycle shorting is fairly safe, but all bad/good things come to an end at some point and hereis my thesis that the downgrade cycle is over (hence I'm going long). The current strong buying can be attributed (and I'm sure we will find out shortly) to either an improved market position for AGI, substantial shareholder buying, a possible positive update? i don't normally punt against shorters because you usually lose but something is up here that looks a bit different for now.
