I always believe that the story is true, because such a situation happens to me quite often. but I am not that lucky to make a big money in such a short time.
I was wondering how come there are so many people here not knowing that the T+3 can allow traders to trade over their account balance. for example, If I have a total share holdings of $10000 on my trading account and $0 on my settlement account, I still can buy shares worth up to $10000. But if I want to hold those shares more than 3 days, I will have to sell them and buy them back every three days. if the value drops, I have to put the difference into the settlement account. it works like margin calls. I am sure that works because I am trading in that way .:)
