"Let’s set the factual record straight. By definition, climate is the result of weather patterns averaged over time, typically 30-50 years. Climate does not change the weather, and blaming climate change on the weather is like blaming obesity on forks. Climate alarmists have their story backwards.

Dr. Christian Pfister, director of Business and Environmental History at the University of Bern, Switzerland, gives an interesting perspective on the below-normal cold weather experienced in Europe this past spring by citing the Dark Ages practice of blaming poor weather on witches; “Today we estimate that from 1430 to 1650 in Europe 60,000 women were executed as witches ... most often because of weather-sorcery.”

He further states that: “Today hysterical climate alarmists blame industrial witches for today’s weather misfortunes, and accuse them of having a pact with the devil.
