I know its easy to say with hindsight, but it would've been better if Mack had said nothing as now the media have blown it out of proportion. I can't help but feel the journo that ask the question set him up.

I don't think Mack was set up, he was keen to let the whole world know and the whole world (less China and the Ruskies) is behind him on this. No person convicted of a drug offence at or since the last Olympics should be competing at this Olympics.
