I have to agree with you on the quality of the music from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, some from the 80s are ok also.

I don't agree with you on this "a certain asian culture would give it's eye teeth to have ( along with Shakespeare etc etc etc etc) ...." You need to have an appreciation of other cultures before you are qualified to make that kind of overarching statement.
