AMP Share Price Weakness Unjustified -JPM

0941 [Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: While AMP (AMP.AU) shares have been relatively weak, most of recent events have been net positive for AMP, says JPMorgan; therefore weakness unjustified and "AMP story remains on track." Only major uncertainty is introduction of superannuation choice, which has both negative and positive implications, "with the major point being that it will be some time before any of the issues can be clarified." Notes AMP has on several occasions reiterated its earnings guidance. Strong equity market since AGM suggests AMP capable of delivering upside surprise at result on Aug. 18. Has stock at Overweight.
