    Hmm, good question.

    I think you can get the data from some of the high-end dealing systems available. Might be worth checking around.

    At Swap & Co Private Investments, I get a paper report. I'm not very technical - it just turns up.

    (It's only 1 or 2 pages before anyone complains about the environment.)

    I prefer a paper report because:

    a) It's a lot harder to lose than a laptop or Blueberry - as I have proven a couple of times

    b) You can write comments all over it

    c) If you need to back it up, you just stick it in the photocopier

    d) You can punch two holes in it and file it away in a arch file forever without fear that some nuffy will delete it off the server

    As for the sub holder, 5% of the company equates to around 42m shares, which is still a way to go for anyone purchasing on-market. My previous post "what might happen" outlines a scenario where a purchaser could have secured commitments from other major holders without actually executing the transaction yet. If you or I were in takeover mode, we would want to keep it very, very quiet because once word is "officially" out, the SP is going to become significantly more expensive.
