The CA is a red herring. It's unlikely to be material in the context of a supercharged balance sheet.
The numbers and market outlook is supremely positive for AMP funds management business.
An acquirer will see more value picking that up before the economic upsurge gathers pace. The impact on acquisition value/price of rising multiples for funds management business's far outweighs acquisition valuation/price risk associated with CA.
I think an acquirer will pop up sooner than we expect and timing is everything
