I think we are all hating this. The entire market is looking sluggish recently though. I read somewhere today in an article that came out last week that MQG are expected to show a reduction in earnings of somewhere like 19%. I thought possibly that was the reason MQG started sliding last week. Don't ask me for the article as I just ran over it online.
The focus is definitely on CBA, Westpac and NAB. Not sure why MQG never seems to get the respect it deserves. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a surprise. I remember about 6 months ago there was a MQG announcement where they spoke about their new business model of lending that was supposed to generate huge income during the GFC. I hope that comes through.
