Macquarie Prime exiting the market - implications on small caps, page-8

    Anyone know any other good options? Had used macquarie because they seemed to be the only lender that would give any lvr for the smaller end. Never really had much leverage so won't be hard to close out my positions but it gave a bit of flexibility.

    Had looked at interactive brokers in the past but seemed complex and custodian wise not aus based. Don't think there would be many retail clients using macquarie prime or else there would be more views/outrage on this thread. Probably the clients they want to keep will be looked after at bell potter and the ones they are culling and quite rapidly as well weren't making them much money.

    Even a 90% LVR would be fine for me for the mostly small caps I own as it just helps with liquidity.

    It's a bit insane easier to get the banks to loan me a million for a house than $1 using my shares as security.
