Macquarie Prime exiting the market - implications on small caps, page-9

Yeah, I got the same email discreetly.

Macquarie have not made any public press releases or anything in the market so they are trying to exit perhaps a losing money business quietly.

Could be that there are a lot of margin calls still waiting to be settled and do not want to incur further risks.

They are very strict on lending now esp. with mortgages and seem to be more interested in credit cards and Apple Pay.

I have been quite successful with Prime in the last 12 months but will take my business elsewhere, eg. IG.
