    Tigerr notes: " I did hear that if you can prove that you were in fact doing "recreational gambling" on CFD's that you did not have to pay tax". This 100% NOT true/accurate. In several places the ATO has ruled (unlike in UK) that ALL CFD transactions are subject to tax. No exceptions.
