Interesting development reported by The Age:
...." The securities of Macquarie Capital Alliance Group (MCAG) rose more than 50 per cent after its independent directors recommended a proposal to delist and privatise the private equity fund.
The fund, which listed in April 2005, has received an offer of $3.40 per stapled security, valuing the entity at $836.26 million.
MCAG securities rose $1.09 or 51.9 per cent to $3.19 at 1151 AEST."
