    Macquarie state that the Minmetals offer discounts the assets at 44%.

    I am not yet totally familar with the Macquarie offer and therefore unable to offer a full analysis. However if "they" are concerned about OZ shareholders getting a fair shake of the sav then their offer should be approaching the Minmetals figure plus 44%
