Do the maths. There are 14bn cars in the world and annual production of 70m. Do the maths and tell me how many years it will take to replace all petrol cars even if the immediately converted all facilities right now to only make EV's? Please tell me what year all petrol cars will be phased out.
EV's don't work with the long haul trucking industry. How long will it take to create a product that does, and then how long will it take to transition all vehicles on the road away from petrol.
I'll give you a clear hint, start at 2040 and keep increasing.
